North Staffs vs Wolves Challenge Trophy

In 2009 the two clubs decided to form a Challenge Trophy. The two clubs are not a great distance apart and it was thought it would be a cheap days racing with good friendly banter and light hearted fun. The format of the racing is based on Speedway Rules. The only change is that the teams have 10 drivers each. There are four drivers in each race over a distance of 10 laps with every driver racing against each other through the race program. Long may it continue. BRING IT ON......

FERRARI HELMET CHALLENGE

The Ferrari Challenge is an annual club event open to members only.The event now in it's 6th year was the idea of former member John Cook,who presented the club with a racing helmet in the colours and livery of Ferrari.The event was first held in 2003 and continues to be very competetive amongst our members.

Ferrari Challenge Rules

Only recognised Ferrari cars can be raced.
No magnets.
Cars must be closed wheel type (no F1 cars).
No loose chassis.
Any engine or tune-up parts may be added but tyres must be rubber and chassis must be plastic.
1mm of tyre can be exposed outside the bodywork.
1 car per driver,repairs are allowed but must be cleared with race controller first.
Cars will be scrutinized before racing starts and must remain in parc ferme at all times.
Weight is allowed in cars.

THE WINNER OF THE EVENT WILL RECEIVE A TROPHY AND HOLD THE FERRARI HELMET FOR ONE YEAR.
